Husband brutally kills wife, cuts into pieces

In a horrific incident a husband allegedly killed his wife and cut the body pieces in Jayprabha Nagar area of Hazaribagh town. The police recovered the body of the wife from bed box and almirah which was in five pieces. The husband who is an employee of CMPDI Ranchi is absconding.

According to Bara Bazar police, CMPDI employee Binod Pathak had on Monday given a written application that his wife is missing.

 Today his neighbours rang to the police station that Pathak has beaten his daughter brutally and his daughter is telling that she had seen blood spots in the bedroom of her parents.

Police reached at the spot and recovered the body which was in pieces. According to OIC Bara Bazar TOP Binod Pathak and Annu Pathak use to live in Jayaprabha Nagar for few years. Their two children are studying in different schools of the town. Their married life was good until Binod was transferred in CMPDI. According to initial investigation quarrels in the family has become a daily affair because Annu was suspecting illicit relationship of her husband with another women at Ranchi. Two days ago they quarreled on same issue and then allegedly Binod killed her wife.

In the morning, when children started enquiring about their mother Binod said that she had left the house. He made a missing complain in the police station.

On Tuesday morning, when the elder daughter saw blood spots on the bed sheet and pillow which was covered by plastic, she started asking questions and then Binod started beating her.

The neighbours interfered and saved her. When she stated the story the neighbours informed the police and body was recovered from the room.
