Haryana Government will organise a state-level Kisan Sammelan on November 2 in Karnal.
“About 5,500 farmers will participate in the programme. During the programme, panchayats, farmers and custom hiring centers will be honoured for playing an excellent role in crop residue management,” said a spokesman of Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare Department
He said that the Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare Minister, OP Dhankar would be the chief guest and Chief Secretary DS Dhesi would preside over the programme.
The Minister of State for Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs, Karan Dev Kamboj and Additional Chief Secretary, Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Department, Navraj Sandhu would also be especially present.
