Haryana Governor Kaptan Singh Solanki will unfurl the national flag on Independence Day at Yamananagar while Chief Minister Manohar lal would hoist the national flag at Hisar.
“The ‘At Home’ will be organized the same evening at Haryana Raj Bhawan here.
Independence Day will be celebrated in a befitting manner in Haryana and the National Flag would be unfurled at the places of celebrations immediately after 9 am on August 15,” said an official spokesman.
He said that the Haryana Vidhan Sabha, Speaker, Kanwar Pal will unfurl the national flag at Jhajjar and the Deputy Speaker Santosh Yadav at Rohtak.
The Education Minister, Ram Bilas Sharma will unfurl the national flag on Independence Day at Palwal, Finance Minister Capt. Abhimanyu at Sonepat, Agriculture Minister Om Parkash Dhankar at Jind, Health Minister Anil Vij at Charkhi Dadri, Public Works (Building and Roads) Minister Narbir Singh at Kurukshetra, Urban local Bodies Minister Kavita Jain at Gurugram, Transport Minister Krishan lal Panwar at Faridabad and Industries Minister, Vipul Goel at Kaithal.
The spokesman said that if any Minister could not attend the function due to personal reasons, the concerned Deputy Commissioner of the area would unfurl the national flag. Also, in the remaining districts, the concerned Deputy Commissioner would unfurl the national flag, he said.
The concerned sub divisional officers (civil) and tehsildars would unfurl the national flag at sub division and tehsil headquarters, the spokesman added.
