Setting eyes on 2019 lok Sabha and Assembly polls, former Chief Minister and senior Congress leader Bhupinder Singh Hooda will launch the third phase of the ‘Jan Kranti Yatra’ from Mewat on June 30.
Mewat has a symbolic value on account of the religious diversity. The two-time former Chief Minister Hooda had been highlighting the failures and non- fulfilled poll promises of first BJP Government in Haryana during his ‘Jan Kranti Yatra’.
Hooda had recently alleged that Mewat has been neglected by the State Government and all sections of society are suffering under BJP’s regime.
The first phase of Hooda’s ‘Rath Yatra’ named ‘Jan Kranti Yatra’ began on February 24 from Hodal in Palwal following which second phase began on June 3 in Panipat to reach out to the rural population in these districts. The first two phases of his yatra had witnessed good turnout in the state.
On the other hand, Indian National lok Dal, which had tied up with Bahujan Samaj Party to contest 2019 polls will also held a meeting in Gurugram on June 30 to discuss poll strategy.
