The Akhil Bharat Hindu Mahasabha on Thursday said it would field candidates in all Parliamentary and Assembly constituencies in Odisha in the upcoming general elections.
The Mahasabha made this announcement at a Press conference held under the chairmanship of its working president Arun Upadhyay here. On the occasion, new office-bearers’ names were announced. Geeta Chaini was appointed as State executive committee president while Abinash Patnaik and Chinmay Mahapatra named as vice-presidents, Subash Mohanty, Sumant Swain, Sameer Patnaik, Asha Mukul Barik and Raghunath Nayak as joint secretaries and Prafulla Maharaj as State mutt and temple president. Pradip Kishore Nanda was appointed as State Legal cell VP, Menka Kinnar as State Kinnar Sangha president and Sabyasachi Mishra as State youth wing president. Chaini said the Mahasabha would play a vital role in Odisha politics by fielding candidates in all Parliamentary and Assembly constituencies in 2019.
