The State Meteorological Centre has warned that some places of Uttarakhand might receive heavy rainfall on the first two days of July. It further informed that with the advent of monsoon in Uttarakhand, some places have already received rainfall over the past two days.
As per the forecast, the sky would remain mostly cloudy across the State on Saturday with the possibility of thundershower lashing some places. Heavy rainfall alert for some places in the State has been issued for two days from July
In Dehradun, Saturday would see a cloudy sky with possibility of thundershowers. The maximum and minimum temperatures of the city are to settle at 33 degree Celsius and 24 degree Celsius respectively on the day, as per the weather report.
The maximum and minimum temperature recorded from the various towns of Uttarakhand were Dehradun 32.5 ºC and 24.4 ºC, Pantnagar 34.5 ºC and 28.5 ºC, Mukteshwar 19.8 ºC and 14.5 ºC, New Tehri 24.2 ºC and 17.6 ºC respectively.
