A 17-year-old girl, who works at a garments showroom at Lahunipada in Sundargarh district, was allegedly raped by four youths in a farmland on October 27.
The incident came to the fore after police arrested all the accused and seized a bike from their possession on Tuesday.
As per the complaint, the girl was returning to her house from the garments showroom on October 27 evening when a youth, whom she was known to, offered her a lift to her house.
However, the youth along with three others took her to the farmland and raped her. They are residents of the Lahunipada slum.
The girl, on her return home, and narrated the incident to her family members, who lodged a complaint at the Lahinipada police station.
On the basis of the complaint, the police arrested the four accused.
