The ruling BJP Government is going to hold a fresh round of an extensive ‘lok Suraj Abhiyan’ in all the 27 districts of the State from March 11 to 31.
A decision in this regard was taken at a high-level party meeting held at BJP's State Headquarters Kushabhau Thakre premises on Tuesday.
All the office bearers of the party, MPs, MlAs were present in the meeting chaired by the Chief Minister Raman Singh.
Singh while briefing reporters informed that the party had decided to organise 'lok Suraj Abhiyan' in the State from March 11 to 31. The applications received by us from citizens under ‘Jan Samasya Niwaran Shivirs’ (Public Grievances Camps) would be redressed during the campaign, he said.
He further informed that a total of 29 lakh applications have been received on the camps held previously all over the State.
He said during his extensive tour in 27 districts all over the State the Government officials as well as the party workers will contact the citizens and would resolve their problems in the camps. “We will also take night halts at 13 district headquarters”, he said.
The detailed programme had already been chalked out. Public Representatives of the respective areas and Government officials would also be present on the occasion, Singh added.
