District employment offices will be modernized and upgraded to be developed into placement centres. In the first phase, total 15 district employment offices of Bhopal, Indore, Jabalpur, Rewa, Gwalior, Sagar, Ujjain, Hoshangabad, Shahdol, Dhar, Khargone, Dewas, SIngrauli, Satna and Katni will be modernized.
The modernization will be done on PPP mode. Minister of State for Technical Education (Independent Charge), School Education and labour Deepak Joshi directed to complete work soon.
Joshi viewed the presentation of the project at the Mantralaya and directed to grant all approvals within the time limit as per need. He said to make proper use of the budget as needed. He said that the budget should not lapse. He also gave instructions to begin training in Mukhya Mantri Kaushal Samvardhan and Kaushalya Yojana.
It was told at the meeting that there will be two counselling rooms, two interview rooms and one computer lab in the placement centre. Changes can be made in this centre on the basis of availability of space. Youth will be trained for various placements at the centre. As many as 25,000 target youths will be placed through these modern employment offices cum placement centre in six months.
Madhya Pradesh Rozgar Nirman Board Chairman Hemant Deshmukh, Principal Secretary Technical Education Sanjay Bandopadhyaya, Director Skill Development Sanjeev Singh and other officers were present at the meeting.
