The North Odisha Chamber of Commerce and Industry (NOCCi) organised the second edition of North Odisha Startup Fest-2018 on Tuesday at the NOCCi Business Park here with the support of the Software Technology Parks of India (STPI), KIIT-TBI, Bhubaneswar, SIDBI and MSME, Government of Odisha.

The objective of this fest was to create a platform to discuss new business and enterprise idea, both in IT and manufacturing field, before potential angel investors, bankers and learn about the available ecosystem in the State, and Government incentives. The infrastructure available for incubating new enterprise idea in Baleswar would also be showcased.

General Manager of DIC, Baleswar Ghashiram Murmu inaugurated the fest n the presence of NOCCi secretary CP Bhartia, CTO, KIIT-TBI, Bhubaneswar Dr Aseem Mishra, Reader, IT of North Odisha University Sujata Dash, Chief Manager (Project) APPT, Baleswar PK Sahoo, Dy Director, MSME Development Institute, Cuttack PK Das, State Head, IlFS, Bhubaneswar Anant Prasanna Behera, Senior Manager, E-Cell of IIT, Kharagpur Abhinav Bhatt along with other senior officers of local industries and participants from universities, engineering and MBA colleges and IT institutions.

The speakers encouraged the participants and prospective entrepreneurs. Subrat Nayak, Chairman of Social Development Panel of NOCCi offered a vote of thanks.

Ishita Gupta of Professional Academy, Supreety Mishra, of First Choice, Priyadarshi Sadangi of Knowlexon Innovation and Technology, Chandra Shekhar Rout of Orduinur lab, Shanti Swarup Mohapatra of Softcad Info Tech Solution and Raj Kishore Mishra of Expert Exchange were the successful startup entrepreneurs from Odisha and shared their experience with participants.
