Deputy Development Commissioner Chandra Mohan Kashyap sent a memorandum to the Meral BDO on Friday to not to reply to the clarification sought for accepting the construction of the irrigation well.
The Deputy Development Commissioner, from the observation of the inquiry report submitted by the Junior Engineer of the Block that in the village Tisartetuka, the same family has been given the benefit of 40 irrigation wells had asked for clarification.
It was also alleged that the records of the well construction scheme were collected by recovering the illegal amount.
“What is the reason for accepting the approval of the work of such a high number of wells in February before the end of the financial year,” asked the letter.
But even after the second memorandum sent no response has come from the BDO. It has been said that the above letter was reviewed by the Deputy Commissioner, which found that the approval of the well construction scheme in all the panchayats has not been approved in general.
On the instructions of the Deputy Development Commissioner, the BDO has issued an order to stop all well construction.
