In the ongoing series of ‘Sankalpa Shivirs’ being organised by the Congress party to train the booth level workers, a camp was on Wednesday held at Champaran in Abhanpur assembly segment as well as in Kurud and Dharsiwa Assembly segments simultaneously.
Senior Congress leaders including Chhattisgarh Pradesh Congress Committee (CGPCC) President Bhupesh Baghel and leader of Opposition, T.S. Singhdeo were present in the training camp.
In his welcome address, Baghel appealed to the booth level workers to gear up activities for ascertaining the victory of Congress party in the assembly elections to be held later this year.
Various tips were given in the camp and training was accorded to the grass-roots level workers of the organization. Following the tradition set by All India Congress Committee Chief Rahul Gandhi with the slogan ‘Waqt Hai Badlao Ka’, the senior leaders didn’t share dais and sat among the general party workers.
