I am confident of victory from my assembly constituency this time round even though I lost the previous poll, Congress party’s Raipur (North) candidate Kuldeep Juneja said on Thursday.
Juneja while talking to The Pioneer said he had been active for the past five years while serving people of his constituency.
“The people of the State have voted for change. They were fed up with the 15-year misrule of Bharatiya Janata Party government and they have given their mandate this time for overthrowing them”, he said.
Sounding confident of his victory, Juneja said “a wave in favour of Congress party developed eight to 10 days prior to the day of polling. The declaration of our party's National President Rahul Gandhi about loan waiver for the farmers resulted in changing people’s mindset”, he said.
Even though I was defeated in the previous poll, I remained active in my constituency and maintained my contact with people . I was always available for the people which would pave way for my victory, said Juneja.
