Chief Minister Raghubar Das has asked the Deputy Commissioners to complete plete the construction of dilapidated buildings, especially hostels, at the earliest with untied funds.
The CM was speaking during ‘Seedhi Baat’ programme here on Tuesday. While reviewing 16 complaint cases, the CM ordered the officials to resolve cases without any delay. Complaints of dilapidated buildings and incomplete structures were received from Sonahatu block and latehar district.
latehar DC assured the CM that survey work for the allotment of land to the displaced people has been completed and soon the problem will be resolved. The displaced public there had just received the lands receipt from the district administration.
Meanwhile, hearing about the absence of Anganwadi Centers in Godda’s Teldiha village, the CM expressing concern said, “It is disheartening to know that despite so much progress and advancement, areas that registers significant tribal population do not have an Anganwadi centre.”
Acting swiftly, Principal Secretary to CM, Sunil Kumar Barnwal instructed the officials to immediately construct a mini Anganawadi centre as per the provision to address the immediate need of women and children there. Barnwal asked the officials of Godda to prepare a budget draft for Anganwadi Centre. Notably, Teldiha Village has the population of 600 people.
The CM asked the Godda DC to immediately release the pension fund of a differently abled person who for the past five years had not received a penny despite getting enrolled under the government scheme. In addition, the CM ordered to immediately release the salary of over 494 para teachers in Palamu district.
On hearing a case of serious ailment of five years’ old boy from Bokaro district who despite having submitted a requisition application to the concerned department two months back, did not receive the amount under the government scheme, Additional Chief Secretary, Department of Health and Family Welfare, Sudhir Tripathy assured that the fund will be released by February 28.
Meanwhile, the CM ordered the Giridih SP to speed up the investigation of the murder case involving a teenage girl. The crime had occurred in Giridih in 2016. On the complaint of Satish Chaudhary, who has been working in the State food corporation in Gumla for more than four years and has not received payment, the CM asked the DC to ensure the payment of dues within one month.
On the complaint of non-payment to the computer operators working on the contract in the office of Superintending Engineer and Chief Engineer of Water Resources Department for the last three months, the CM asked the Additional Chief Secretary DK Tiwari to find out a permanent solution for this.
Also, after the completion of the construction of 419 Dobhas by farmers in all the villages of Sonahatu Block of Ranchi, just 323 beneficiaries were paid the amount while the remaining 96 beneficiaries even after one and a half year did not receive the payment. On this, the CM said that the remaining beneficiaries should be paid by March.
