Chief Minister Raghubar Das has sought reports on the incidents of rape and the action taken by the police from the Superintendents of Police of all the districts within a week’s time. He also said that he himself would review the cases and developments taken place about arresting of accused, status of charge sheets etc.
Chief Minister passed the direction when he was reviewing cases in ‘Seedhi Baat’ programme of Jansamvad Kendra on Tuesday where 22 cases came before him and the team of officials present. The CM got baffled hearing no headway seen in a case of gang rape in Giridih.
Expressing his displeasure the CM asked the SP to file charge sheet in all such cases within two months and in came any police officer fails in this directed him to take action against him.
In case related to compensatory job was to be given to the son of one Gopal Goswami who was working with the Water Resources Department of Jamtada, the CM directed the DC Jamtada to issue appointment letter till November 15, 2018. Similar direction was given in the case of Bandhu Oraon, who was working with Finance Audit Department, Hazaribagh. Family members of electrician Mantu Bhokta died due to electric shock will also get compensation within 3 days.
Directions related pensions to a Divyanga from Deoghar were also given by the CM. He also directed to start inoperative Meso rural hospital in Chiru village of Khuntpani of West-Singhbhum and installation of new solar plate for water supply at Maheshpur Village of Godda.
Application of Palamu's Niranjan Kumar Baitha was being kept pending for four years for the benefit of the Lakshmi Ladli scheme, the Chief Minister directed the officers of the women, child development and social security department to review all the issues related to the Lakshsmi Ladli scheme, so that the daughters of the state have no trouble getting the benefits of this scheme.
Besides that, complaints about crop insurance, pending payment 14 Jal-Sahia of from Satbarwa, Palamu and some other also came for his consideration.
Also present there was Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister Sunil Kumar Barnwal who instructed the DCs of all the districts to ensure the arrangements of buildings for the skill development centers by 15 November.
The Chief Minister also talked directly to the people of Aasanpaliya Panchayat of West Singhbhum through video conferencing. One villager complained about not receiving old age pension to which he instructed the DC to ensure his payment.
