Hundreds of chit-fund agents met Chhattisgarh Pradesh Congress Committee (CGPCC) Chief Bhupesh Baghel and demanded from him to make efforts so that stern action can be taken against the companies which swindled the money of investors.
Baghel assured the agents that he would make efforts so that the investors get back their hard earned money from chit-fund companies when the Congress party forms government in the State.
Earlier, the agents met Baghel at his official residence situated at Shankar Nagar and apprised him that they were drawn towards these companies when they had put up their stalls in the Rojgar Mela organized by the State government.
The ministers themselves inaugurated their stalls and this resulted in them trusting chit-fund companies which participated, they said.
