Union Deputy Secretary, Ministry of Finance, Sanjay Kumar inspected the schemes being implemented under Gram Swaraj campaign in several villages under Meral police station on Monday.
The official alongwith a team visited Aklavani, Kumbhi, Arangi villages among others. Kumar and other officials questioned the villagers about PM Jan Dhan Yojana, Ujjwala Gas Scheme, Prime Minister's Security Insurance Scheme, Jeevan Bima Yojna etc.
Villagers of Kumbhi village Vasudev Singh and Harak Yadav complained against Maral Gramin Bank workers for taking illegal money to payment in scholarship and pension money. Regarding the complaint, the secretary directed the bank workers to improve the style of work. On the other hand, many people, including Kalawati Devi in Biktam Panchayat Bhawan, were charged with charging Rs 500 for illegally on the operator of Bharat Gas Agency. Taking the allegations of the villagers seriously, they ordered an inquiry. The Deputy Secretary asked the villagers to take advantage of the Government-run schemes, especially all types of insurance schemes.
He also gave information about the schemes implemented under the Gram Swaraj campaign. The Deputy Secretary discussed with the children in middle school Kumbhi and studied and wrote satisfaction with the teaching system of the school.
On this occasion, CO Rakesh Sahai, BJP leader Harendra Kumar Dwivedi Narasimha Paswan, Panchayat Sevak, Prashant Mishra etc. were present.
