Capt launches iOS version of i-Haryali app

Friday, 31 August 2018 | PNS | Chandigarh

Punjab Chief Minister Capt Amarinder Singh on Thursday launched the iOS version of i-Haryali mobile application to facilitate citizens who were using Apple mobile phones.

Dedicating the application to the people, the Chief Minister said that the move would give further boost to the ongoing ‘Tandarust Punjab Mission’ for creating awareness amongst the people about healthy and clean environment, and the app would help in ensuring ecological balance in the state.

The app was launched as a part of State Government’s flagship ‘Ghar-Ghar Haryali’ mission to make Punjab clean, green and pollution-free.

The initiative, to facilitate citizens to select and collect plants of their choice free of cost, from the geographically nearest government forest nursery, is the first of its kind in the country.
