Setting eyes on party’s ‘Mission 2019’, Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal, his cabinet colleagues and Union Ministers from the state will be holding “Jan Vishwas Rally” to reach out to the people.
Aimed at apprizing the general public about the achievements of maiden BJP led Haryana Government during its four years tenure, these rallies will be held in all districts of the state.
These rallies are also aimed at infusing enthusiasm and motivate booth-level party workers in various constituencies ahead of 2019 Lok Sabha polls.
Four such rallies have so far been held in Jind, Panchkula, Yamunanagar and Sirsa districts and were presided over by Chief Minister himself.
The first time MLA, Manohar Lal Khattar had taken oath as the first Chief Minister of the BJP Government in the state on October 26 in 2014.
The saffron party has chalked out a detailed plan for massive mass-contact programmes in the next two months in Haryana.
“The Chief Minister will hold “Jan Vishwas Rally” at Bhuna in Fatehabad on Wednesday. He will be accompanied by BJP state president Subash Barala, Cabinet Minister Krishan Kumar Bedi,” said Rajiv Jain, media advisor to the Chief Minister on Tuesday.
On the occasion of Haryana Day on November 1, Transport Minister Krishan Lal Panwar will hold the rally in Panipat, Agriculture Minister OP Dhankar will hold “Jan Vishwas Rally” in Charkhi Dadri on November 4, Union Minister Krishan Pal Gujjar and Haryana Minister Manish Kumar Grover in Faridabad on November 11, Union Minister Rao Inderjit and Haryana Minister Rao Narbir in Gurugram on November 11, Education Minister Ram Bilas Sharma in Mahendragarh on November 18, Union Minister Rao Inderjit Singh and Haryana Minister Banwari Lal in Rewari on November 18.
Apart from this, Finance Minister Capt Abhimanyu and Minister Nayab Singh Saini will hold a rally in Kaithal on November 1, BJP state president Subhash Barala, Ministers Kavita Jain and Krishan Lal Panwar on November 4 in Sonipat, Union Minister Rao Inderjit and Minister Capt Abhimanyu on November 11 in Nuh and Minister OP Dhankar on November 18 in Jhajjar.
Rajiv Jain said that during the “Jan Vishwas Rally”, the Chief Minister and Cabinet Ministers will apprize the general public about the achievements of BJP Government in Haryana and at the Centre.
At the rallies, the Haryana Government is focusing on highlighting its major initiatives including Beti Bachao Beti Padhao, Swachhta Abhiyan, promotion of e-governance, ease of doing business and various schemes of Central and State Government for the welfare of various sections.
While Lok Sabha polls are scheduled in May 2019, the assembly polls in Haryana are likely to be held in October 2019.
The ruling BJP had earlier proposed to hold a mega rally on November 1 in Karnal to sound poll bugle for 2019 besides celebrating four years completion of BJP led Haryana Government. However, the rally was postponed due to the busy schedule of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and BJP national chief Amit Shah.
Notably, the ruling BJP in Haryana is under fire from the opposition parties over the issues of rise in cases of crimes specially against women, non-implementation of Swaminathan report, non-completion of Sutlej Yamuna Link (SYL) canal, de-notification of Dadupur Nalvi irrigation project among other issues.
