The BJP’s allegations before the Election Commission of India against Government officers in Bargarh district are completely baseless; and the saffron party is making such allegations as it knows that it would lose the Bijupur bypoll.
BJD State secretary Bijay Nayak said this in a statement on Tuesday.
“The BJP is making drama and will continue to do so in coming days as it knows that it will not win the Bijepur by-poll at all. Placing of baseless complaints against Government officers indicates that the BJP is fearing the Bijepur by-poll,” Nayak said, daring the party to bring definite allegations, if it has any against any officer.
The BJP is playing tricks to put pressure on Government officers.
To loss face in front of central leadership of party, Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan and BJP Odisha in-charge Arun Singh are making gimmicks, he alleged further.
