Criticising the Congress for opposing Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s planned visit to Kedarnath, the Bharatiya Janata Party has said that Congress leaders are suffering from Modi phobia. The BJP state media in-charge Devendra Bhasin said that the Prime Minister has deep faith in lord Kedarnath. Due to this he is arriving here to visit the shrine once before its portals are closed to the public for the winter. “However, the Congress leaders are so scared of Modi that they fear that his visiting Uttarakhand will result in an all-round defeat of the Congress in the urban local body elections.
Congress leaders terming the Prime Minister’s arrival here as a violation of the election model code of conduct is also a proof of their severe ignorance,” said Bhasin.
He further said that while the statements of Congress leaders display their lack of knowledge of the law, it also shows that the Congress is already sensing its defeat in the local body elections.
The Congress will face defeat not only in the local body elections but also in the Lok Sabha elections, opined the BJP state media in charge.
