'Bhajan Sandhya' programme organised at Jawahar Bal Bhavan

A mild and a spiritual evening was organised here on Tuesday at Jawahar Bal Bhavan adorned with devotional songs. A ‘Bhajan Sandhya’ programme was organized at Jawahar Bal Bhavan to observe the death anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi.

On January 30, at Jawahar Bal Bhavan, Gandhi was given tribute by Mahatma Gandhi on the death anniversary with a prayer meeting. In the prayer meeting, the presentation of Gandhi's favorite hymns and songs was given by the children of modern music prepared in the direction of Vijay Sapre.

The children presented various devotional songs before the audience. Soma Rai presented ‘Tu Hai Rama’, Raj Sachdev presented the Thamak Chal Ramchandra and Rama, Raghav Behera performed Hey Ram Hey Ram and in the group songs like Ram Govind Hari, Jai Jai Ram Jai Shree Ram and Vaishnava Jana Taneen Say, and Peer Parayi Jaane Re were beautifully performed by the children.

On this occasion children of Bal Bhavan, their guardians and a large number of audiences were present.

At the end of the programme, Tripti Tripathi, Director, Jawahar Bal Bhavan, gave inspiration to the children to follow Gandhi's path of truth and non-violence in his footsteps.

The audience enjoyed the show with full ecstasy when children’s singing created a connection between the devotional music and the listeners. Not only the music lovers, but others also listened to their performance with rapt attention. The evening turned out to be a mesmerizing event for the audience as students performed the different compositions.
