Aiming to consolidate and exchange of knowledge among doctors, Bokaro General Hospital (BGH) is going to hold three days All India Steel Medical Officer’s Conference (AISMOC) at HRD Auditorium of Bokaro Steel Plant.
BGH would hold this 39th conference— an annual event of doctors from various steel plants for scientific deliberation— would kick off on February 2 in the main auditorium in HRD Centre, informed Dr AK Singh Director of Health and Medical services BGH.
“AISMOC is the only medical event where doctors from all the specialties and various streams form a common platform while BGH is holding this for the fifth time during the 39 years of long journey of AISMOC,” said Dr Singh while addressing to the media persons. During the past years, the standard of the scientific deliberation has achieved a great height which is comparable with any national or international standards. Around 300 delegates from various steel plants including Bokaro steel Plant will participate in three-day scientific session where more than 100 doctors will present papers (including long papers, Short papers, MBBS Papers, TQM Papers, OHS Papers), informed Dr Singh.
“Hundred delegates from various steel units like BSP Bhilai, RSP Rourkela, DSP Durgapur, BSl Bokaro, IISCO Burnpur, VISl Bhadravati, SSP Salem, MEl Chandraour, RINl Vizag, MECON Ranchi, TISCO Jamshedpur would participate in this scientific session,” added Dr AK Singh.
