Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said at the Antyodaya Mela in Mandsaur on Wednesday that his heart always beats for the labourers, the poor and the farmers. The state government is making all possible efforts to make the life of these classes happy.
In the last one year, benefits of Rs 20,000 crore have been distributed to the farmers under various schemes. He said that every hardworking person of the state will be empowered, prosperous and happy. He called upon the farmers to ensure their active participation in the all-round development of the state and not be influenced by those who incite and spread chaos. The Chief Minister distributed benefits of various schemes to the beneficiaries at Antyodaya Mela and made tendu patta collectors wear charan padukas and offered them water bottles. He also distributed sarees to women collectors.
