Alleging threat on her husband’s life from ATS Seems Singh , wife of dreaded sharp shooter Prem Prakash alias Munna Bajrangi, has urged chief minister Yogi Adityanath to intervene and protect her husband’s life as he could be killed in an encounter.
Manna Bajrangi is at present lodged in the Jhansi jail. Seema Singh said that senior police officials and UP ATS and STF are conspiring to kill her husband. “Some police officials would kill my husband during a fake encounter when he comes out of the jail to appear in the court,” she said. Addressing a press conference here on Friday, Seema Singh said that a few days back Munna Bajrangi was attacked inside the Jhansi jail. “He survived that attempt on life. But he might not be that lucky if similar attack takes place outside jail,” she said. The wife of the shooter did not stop her. She even said that some politicians and businessmen are also hatching conspiracy to kill her husband. “My husband has already informed the court about the threat on his life and even given names of the people who could eliminate her to the concerned court,” she said. Munna Bajrangi is in jail since 2009 for the murder of MlA Krishnanand Rai, who was killed in 2005. Munna was arrested from Mumbai after UP police announced a reward of Rs 7 lakhs on his head. Munna Bajrangi also contested the UP assembly elections 2012 from Mariyahu seat in Jaunpur district as Apna Dal candidate. He came in third polling 12 per cent of votes.
