Making an unusual record, the members of Ansh Happiness Society interacted with more than 10,000 Bhopalites through 77 street plays in one day. Through the Nukkad Marathon, Ansh managed to impress Bhopalites with its unique idea of street plays.
Zindagi Ka Tamasha was a hit among people of city, as the youth came together and talked about first 1000 days of a child.
Volunteers at ANSH Happiness Society in collaboration with UNICEF attempted and succeeded in performing more than 77 plays all over Bhopal in less than 24 hours. This journey started with the idea of Nukkad Marathon and was accomplished with vigorous practice sessions and detailed planning.
Samyamoy Debnath and Sahil Khan; the writers and directors of the play said that they are proud to be a part of this and have an incredible team.
The management team planned the route and identified the spots where nukkad shall be performed with respect to the time of arrival of the team. Team started the journey from Danish Ice cream Parlour in midnight and continued to address more than 10000 people. The last and 77th play was performed in Anand Nagar at 10:50 pm.
The 77 spots in Bhopal were Danish Ice cream parlour, Raja bhoj Setu, Moti masjid, Hamidiya Hospital, Bhopal Talkies, Raju Tea Stall, Qazi Camp, Nadra Bus Stand, Bhopal Station, Sangam Talkies, Curfew Wali Mata Mandir, Seedhi Ghat, Pratap Nagar, Roshanpura, GTB complex, New Market, Rang Mahal Talkies, Model Higher Secondary School, Jawahar Chowk, PNT Chouraha, Kotra, Nehru Nagar, Kamla Nagar, Pampapur, Rahul Nagar, Panchsheel Nagar, Shahpura, 10 No. market, Minal Mall, Yadav Tea Stall Indrapuri, Kawality Sweets Sonagiri, Anand Nagar.
