Governor Anandiben Patel while commemorating the First Deputy Prime Minister and Home Minister Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel on his anniversary paid tribute to him.
The Governor said that the Iron Man Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel has played an important role in the freedom struggle and unification of the country. Sardar Patel was the only person, who had the capability to unite over 550 states after the independence.
Besides, the Governor mentioned that the Statue of Unity is a real tribute to Sardar Patel.
She further stated that this statue will remind country about the personality, accomplishments and sacrifices of Sardar Patel and will inspire youth for national unity
