An All India Poets’ Meet and National Iqbal Seminar will be organised in the city on Monday. The event will be held at Ravindra Bhavan auditorium.
On the occasion of 72nd Independence Day the seminar will be organised by Madhya Pradesh Urdu Academy of Allama Iqbal Adabi Merkaz Culture Department. Nusrat Mehdi, Secretary of the Madhya Pradesh Urdu Academy said that the national Iqbal seminar will be held under the chairmanship of Iqbal Majid.
Urdu poets like Ali Ahmed Fatmi from Allahabad, Naeem Kausar from Bhopal, Khaleel-ur-Rahman from Delhi, Safdar Imam Qadri from Patna, Vijay Bahadur Singh from Bhopal, Sadiqa Nawab from Mumbai will present their articles on ‘Shayari and Writings of Iqbal’. The programme will be conducted by Azra Naqvi from Noida.
Besides, in All India l Poet’s Meet poets like Gulzar Dehlavi, Shahper Rasool from Delhi, Naseem Nikat from lucknow, Shakeel Azmi from Mumbai, Aziz Nabil from Qatar, liyaqat Jafri from Kashmir, Shakeel Jamali, Iqbal Ashar, Zafar Naseemi, Nasir from Delhi, Azham Shakiri, Naim Akhtar Khadami from Burhanpur, Malik Zada Javed from Noida, Maheshar Afariadi, Munawwar Jafri from lucknow and Farooq Anjum, Aftab Arif, Mahtab Alam, Arjumand Bano, Masood Bhopali, Pervez Akhtar, Sajid lover and Naseem Khan from Bhopal will recite their creations.
Shakeel Azmi has written the songs of the film 1921 ‘Kuch Is Tarah’. SH Gulzar is one of the veteran poets of Dehlavi Desh. Shakeel Jamli will conduct the poet’s meet.
