The Abhinav Model competition of Pharmacy Department was organized for the promotion of science and technology in Pharmacy department of Patel Group of Institutions.
The event was organised by Sister Nivedita Technical Education Committee under Srijan 2018.
More than 30 Working Models were presented by the students from different pharmacy colleges of the State. Out of these 30 models, the award for three best models was selected by jury.
The jury included Professor Viral Gupta and Jitendra Banveer.
The first prize was given to Patel College, which was given to Vishvakarma and his team who displayed the flow science of fluid by the model and explained the use of fluid flow pharmacy and the use of daily necessities. Second prize was bagged by Rabiraj Dangi of the VNS College.
His team displayed an easy tool for measuring injectability of injectable formulas by this model.
The third prize was given to Girijesh Verma and his team of Patel College, who created a guide stick for the visually impaired, the highlight of this stick is that when any obstacles are encountered while walking, the stick is alerted through the alarms and vibration. .
The use of this stick practically is praiseworthy.
This grand exhibition was inaugurated by chief guest and chairperson of the organization Preeti Patel. Preeti Patel, while praising the efforts made by the students, she said that these projects made by the students were only commendable; the same students gave credit for this success to the head and faculty of the college.
Group director of the organization Gyanendra Singh, CEO Madhu Malhotra, Director of Science and Technology, GS Chauhan, Director Pharmacy Professor C.J. Verma Principal Pharmacy Shailesh Jain also congratulated the students for their achievement.
