Police said that the deceased Tejendar Pal Singh was found hanging at his house and was rushed to a nearby hospital where he was declared dead.
The deceased used to run a hotel near Ashima Mall which was closed after it failed to make money and incurred loss after which the deceased used to remain depressed over the closure of the business and on Sunday afternoon the deceased committed suicide.
In the initial investigation police have found that the loss in the business might be the reason behind the suicide of the deceased but the reason could not be ascertained at the moment as no suicide note has been recovered.
