: A 22-year-old girl committed suicide by hanging from the ceiling at her Bengali Colony, Vsihwakarma Nagar residence under Govindpura police station on Sunday.
Police said that the victim Rashmi Chouhan was found hanging and taken to hospital where she was declared dead.
The family members failed to provide reason behind the extreme step taken by the deceased.
Police said that the deceased Rashmi was found hanging with the ceiling by her mother at around 3 pm when she returned from work.
The deceased used to remain at home and she was mentally not sound for normal life.
