Eighty participants from 21 schools took part in ‘Is democracy going well with the expectations of the people?’ debate at Pandit Kunjilal Dubey Rashtriya Sansadiya Vidyapeeth on Tuesday.
The debate was inaugurated by Director of Pandit Kunjilal Dubey Rashtriya Sansadiya Vidyapeeth Pratima Yadav.
The debate was judged were Kaushal K Chaturvedi, Senior Journalist Indu Pandey and Pratima Yadav.
Nimisha Pathak of class XII of DPS Neelbad won the debate and was awarded with Rs 10000. The second prize was claimed by Shrushti Yati of class 9 Carmel Convent BHEL School and won Rs 7500, Pranjali Dangarh of class 10 of Carmel Convent Ratanpur BHEL School won third price of Rs 5000.
Yashfeen Fatima, class 9 student of Carmel Convent BHEL School and Chitnain Kaur Bagga of St Paul Co-Ed School claimed consolation price of Rs 2500 each. Deputy director MK Rajoria Rashtriya Sansadiya Vidyapeeth gave vote of thanks.
