CM is not firm to act against sand mafia: Ajay

Bhopal: leader of Opposition in the state assembly Ajay Singh said that Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan uses double standards in dealing with sand mafia as on hand he instructs to take strict action against sand mafia and on the other hand absconding owner of truck involved in illegally mining of sand was seen along with CM in ‘Atal Ashthi Kalash’ procession. During raids conducted to seize trucks involved in mining and transporting sand illegally 8 trucks were seized in Chanabad and Tawa banks in Hoshangabad district and truck bearing registration number MP05G7846 owned by Vijay Singh Rajput was also among the seized trucks. Rajput’s wife is chairman of municipal council.

Globe India-Country Mosquito Training held

Bhopal: A Globe India-Country Mosquito Training programme is being organized in Environment Planning and Coordination Organisation (EPCO) from 10.30 am to 5 pm on Friday to make India a mosquito-free country. As many as 40 teachers from eco-club schools of the National Green Corps Scheme will take part in the one-day training programme to be organized under the joint aegis of Union Ministry for Environment, Forest and Climate Change with the aim of making India free of mosquitoes.

6th ‘Buddhist Conclave’ organized

Bhopal: Delegates from different countries, who participated in the 6th ‘Buddhist Conclave’ organized by the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India in collaboration with the MP Tourism board, on Thursday visited Indira Gandhi Rashtriya Manav Sangrahalaya.

Study Visit to underprivileged initiated

Bhopal: Regional Museum of Natural History, Bhopal organized Study Visit to Van Vihar National Park for the underprivileged children on Thursday. As many as 48 underprivileged students from Parvarish the Museum School, Bhopal and Aranya an NGO, Bhopal participated in the programme.

Noting, Drafting & Translation competition held

Bhopal: As a part of the ongoing Hindi month celebration in BHEl, Bhopal; Noting, Drafting & Translation competition was held today at ITS Conference Hall. On this occasion MS Kinra General Manager (Quality) was present as the Chief Guest and Vedvrat Khare AGM (MDX) was especially present in the programme. Ritu Mohan Deputy Manager (IEX) and Sandeep Saxena Assistant Engineer (ASC) were present as the judges in the programme. Around 63 employees from different department participated in the programme. Addressing the gathering Kinra said, “I feel happy to see the large number of employees participating in the competition.”

Workshop on alternative methods of healing

Bhopal: CRISP Bhopal organized a workshop on ‘Re-Engineering Inner Harmony Through Singing Bowls’ which was attended by officials from various departments of Madhya Pradesh government. The basic objective of this event was to spread awareness about the alternative methods of healing through sound waves and encourage the participants to apply the same in their lives in order to live a healthy life.
