Fine amount from HC to Kerala relief

Justice Ananda Sen of High Court of Jharkhand while dealing with bail matters as a condition of grant of bail imposed certain amounts to be deposited in the account of Chief Minister’s Distress Relief Fund meant for helping the affected persons in recent floods in Kerala. The amount in each case was quantified at Rs. 5000 to Rs. 75000. Starting from August 24 till August 30, the HC Judge has imposed such monetary condition in as many as  27 bail applications wherein a total sum of more than Rs. 5,50,000 has been ordered to be deposited in the said relief fund, thus contributing towards the cause.

SBPS bids adieu to retired drivers

SBPS recently organised a farewell ceremony for their two retired school bus drivers -- Ayub Khan and Krishna Ram. The two drivers dedicated 10 precious years of their lives to the school and worked with utter sincerity. School Head Personnel & Admin Pradip Varma appreciated the determination and hard work of both the drivers.

Workshop on kids at Railways

A workshop on children who come in contact with Railways was conducted at officers’ club here on Thursday, which was attended by a large number of personnel from RPF, GRP, TTE, Station managers, child line members and other employees and officials. DRM VK Gupta presided the workshop, while Sr DCM Avnish compeered it. A helpline number 1098 was also issued on the occasion.

Janmashtami Celebration at Surendranath

Janmashtami was celebrated with a lot of passion and zeal at the junior wing of Surendranath Centenary School on Thursday. The occasion was marked with the colourful programme which were enthusiastically presented by the students of class I. Children came dressed up as Radha-Krishna gave a traditional touch to the entire celebration of the birth of lord Krishna. The children performed the skit on ‘Krishna Janmotsav’ won the praises of the audience. Principal Samita Sinha said that such celebration conveyed the strong message ‘Victory of good over evil’.

E-waste exhibition at DAV

E-waste exhibition was organised in DAV Public School, Hazaribagh by ICT department which was inaugurated by the Principal Ashok Kumar. In his address to the student’s of std. VII to IX the Principal said that waste materials are not only the waste but an opportunity to think and learn how to make it the Best out of the wastes.

Sports competition at Sai Nath

An Inter Departmental Games and Sports Competition was held on Wednesday on the National Sports Day and the birth anniversary of Major Dhyanchand, the Hockey player of India repute.

NMSS Hospital

Ongoing Diamond Jubilee years of Nagarmal Modi Seva Sadam Hospital celebrated with hospital staff and patients on Thursday. On the occasion organized several cultural programme at the hospital premises. Main Diamond Jubilee ceremony will be celebrated on Aug 31st on Friday at Marwari Bhawan, Harmu Road.
