govt to give scholarships to study abroad

Bhopal: The State Government has taken a decision to give scholarship to 50 students belonging to backward class category every year for studies abroad. It may be mentioned that scholarship was given to only 10 students every year in the past to pursue higher education aboard. Necessary amendments have been made in the Rules-2007 of Higher Education Scheme to implement this decision. As per the amendment, permission will also be granted to students to pursue studies up to the QS Rank 500 institutions in future.

Informing about this, Secretary Backward Class Ramesh Thete has said that a provision of Rs 5.50 crore has been made in the budget to grant scholarship to students of backward class for pursuing abroad in the year 2018-19.

Vishwas Sarang inspects Railway Over Bridge

Bhopal: Minister of State for Cooperative, Bhopal Gas Tragedy, Relief and Rehabilitation (Independent Charge) Vishwas Sarang inspected construction site of Aishbagh Railway Over Bridge (ROB) today. ADRM Ranveer Singh Rajput, SE Public Works Department VK Arakh, CEO of Metro JK Dubey accompanied Sarang during the inspection.

Sarang held discussions with the officers at the construction site regarding construction of ROB being carried out by Railway, Metro and PWD. Works to be carried out at the construction site were also marked on this occasion. Sarang has informed that the construction works will be started within one and half month.

Besides, Sarang informed that the construction of ROB will facilitate people to get rid of problem being faced by them during movement due to closed railway crossing.

Valuables worth Rs 70000 were burgled

Bhopal: Valuables worth Rs 70000 were burgled from Adinath Parisar under Ashoka Garden police station area on Monday.  Police said that the vicitm Vinay Shankar Rai had gone to work and at around 12 noon his wife had gone to bring kid from school and when she returned lock was broken and valuables were missing. A police complaint was lodged with the Ashoka Garden police stating that gold and silver jewelry worth Rs 70000 was burgled.

The victim claimed that two gold chains, two pairs of gold ear rings, one gold finger ring, four pairs of silver anklet, 30 silver coins and eight pairs of silver toe ring worth Rs 70000 were burgled. After the preliminary investigation the police have registered a case under section 454 and 380 of the IPC and started further investigation.

strict action against antisocial elements in Indore

Indore: Indore administration is taking strict action against antisocial elements and the antisocial elements who are continuously engaged in crime have been externed.

Indore ADM Nidhi Nivedita ordered the externment of two antisocial elements Imraan of shanti nagar ghata Billod police station Betma area and Shyamlal of village Sezwani police station Betma district Indore for 6 months. Both the accused will be out of the division in the period Indore ADM Nidhi Nivedita has passed these order under Madhya Pradesh state security rule 1990 under section 8 (5) .

Indore dist panchayat CEO removes Sarpanch

Mhow: Indore district panchayat CEO Neha Meena removed the Sarpanch Harish Kaisthwas of village Sherpur of Mhow tehsil from his post and also banned the Sarpanch to contest any election for 6 years. CEO Neha Meena removed the Sarpanch Harish Kaithwas from his post as Sarpanch Harish Kaithwas was found guilty of misusing Rs 15 lakh of government money. CEO Neha removed the Sarpanch Harish Kaithwas under Madhya Pradesh Panchayat State rule 1993 section 40. Indore district  Panchayat CEO Neha Meena has also issued show cause notice to the Sarpanch Kodariya Anuradha Joshi for irregularities in government fund of gram panchayat under section 40 and section 92. The investigation is underway on Anuraha Joshi kodariya sarpanch.
