Apollo cancer centre in BBSR by March 2019
Brahmapur: The Apollo Hospitals group would open its 10th state-of-art cancer centre in Bhubaneswar by March 2019. Apollo Hospitals Enterprise limited Odisha and Chhattisgarh regional chief executive officer Sudhir M Diggikar informed this at the zonal Continuous Medical Education (CME) programme held here on Sunday. He said the Oncology Centre at Apollo Bhubaneswar would be a comprehensive cancer centre for the prevention, diagnosis, treatment, education and research in cancer. It would also offer services including radiation oncology and head and neck oncology along with specialty clinics for breast, musculoskeletal, oral and throat cancer.
Meeting for Balanga HS golden jubilee held

3 K’mal boys felicitated for saving lives
Phulbani : The Kandhamal People’s Forum felicitated three boys, Suman Kanhar, Sibananda Kanhar and Kesab Kanhar, who had saved two lives from Saliunki river recently. They saved Padmini Kanhar and Sabita Kanhar. They were felicitated at a function attended by lawyers Bijay Patnaik, Sunil Patnaik and Radhamohan Mahapatra, scribe Batakrushna Bihari.
Bargarh MPHS Assn half-yearly meet held
Bargarh: The Multipurpose Health Supervisor (Male) (MPHS) Association Bargarh organised its half-yearly meet here on Sunday under the chairmanship of its president Sudam Mirdha. Discussions were held on the problems which they have been facing regularly. The members decided to submit a memorandum to the CDMO on the problem and suggested to solve the health services at the District Headquarters Hospital (DHH).
