Franchisee meeting of BSNl

BSNl, Jharkhand Circle organised a Franchisee meeting on May 29 at circle office where class A, B and C franchisee were felicitated with first and second prize for good performance by CGM KK Thakur. A meeting of all district heads of telecommunication was also held where network issue was discussed in detail. Talking about BBG UlD family plan CGM KK Thakur and GM (Marketing) Ramashray Prasad said that the plan has been made keeping in mind its use by a family. The plan offers a host of services for all kinds of age group and members of a family.

HEC, Russian firm agreement

A high-level team from Russia, JSC “Rosoboronexport”, Baltic Shipyard, VINT and United Shipbuilding Corporation  and the delegation from Mazgaon Dock ltd. held a discussion and a  Protocol Agreement was signed between HEC, Mazgaon Dock ltd. and the Russian delegation comprising of JSC “Rosoboronexport”, Baltic Shipyard, VINT and United Shipbuilding Corporation. Govt. of India has presently approved manufacturing of various warships. Mazagon Dock ltd. has taken a lead for manufacturing presently approved Warship projects and have identified HEC as the potential source for various mechanisms like propeller shafts, rudder stock, stern gear system etc. Avijit Ghosh, Chairman-cum-Managing Director/HEC has shown keen interest and is taking all efforts to tap the business potential. In the past, HEC has manufactured and supplied Propeller shafts to the Naval Ship builders: Goa Shipyard ltd., Mazagon Dock ltd., Cochin Shipyard ltd. etc. Shafting & Propellers for Indian Navy Ships are identified as potential ‘Make in India Project’. Presently shaftlines and components are largely of import nature where the import content is much higher.

DAV Gumla students excel

All 166 students of D.A.V. Public School, Gumla who appeared in C.B.S.E (Central Board of Secondary Education) class 10th Board Examinations performed remarkably well with an average class percentage of 70.8 per cent. Milind Bhaskar, topped the school by scoring 97.2 per cent, followed by Ayush Kumar lal, who bagged the second position by scoring 96.6 per cent and Prachi Shikha, secured the third position by scoring 95.2 per cent. As many as 68 students scored more than 80 per cent marks in C.B.S.E. Class X Board Examination.
