A mob reportedly stripped a woman and a man naked in Bualibeda village under the Umarkote police limits on Friday noon on suspicion that they had an affair and beat them up. A video of the incident has gone viral on social media.
The victims filed a complaint with the police on Saturday. One of the victims said, “They forcefully cut our hairs, stripped us and paraded in the village by tying a rope on our waist. Further, they physically assaulted and made videos. No one came to our rescue. I am under mental trauma and on Saturday I gathered courage and filed a complaint with police.”
However, an inhabitant of the village said that the man with a Scorpio spotted near the house of the woman who is working as an Anganawadi worker.
As the husband of the woman was absent in house, on suspicion, the mob entered inside and found the duo in compromising possession. later, they intimated to the husband of the woman over mobile.
The police registered a case and arrested two persons, including the husband of the woman, and forwarded them to court.
