AMOFOI celebrated the 260th birthday of the eminent British feminist leader Mary Wollstonecraft here.
Campaign for Electoral Reforms in India State unit chief Manas Jena graced the occasion as chief guest and released the AMOFOI book,”All 18+ Indian Women Now 100% Sovereign”. Jena gave a call for a revolution to end the Baba and Mata culture in the country.
AMOFOI founder secretary B Ramchandra CST Voltaire presented a 10-point reform agenda, including a national policy to give due honour to each and every woman of India and celebrating April 27th as the Birthday of Mary Wollstonecraft, promoting humanism, scientific outlook, love for atheism, free thought, human dignity and English medium education, not allowing any religious functions in any academic institution, free registration of priestless dowryless and casteless love marriage offices, no age bar for lovers to marry, permanent settlement of nomadic communities and life imprisonment to rapists.
Political scientist Dr KP Padhy, columnist Tusarkant Satpathy, FPI vice president Haris Chandra Kar, ODAM advisor MS Yadav, AMOFOI co-founder Swapna Bijayinim FPI joint secretary Gandharb Nayak and Principal, ABC Voltaire Public School, Eranch, (Niali) Sarojin Mohapatra participated in the discussion and gave their ideas on the question of making India a rape-free and Baba-free nation by 2047. FPI president Dr Bijayananda Kar presided.
