Chhattisgarh Assembly's month-long Budget Session was adjourned sine die on Tuesday by Speaker, Gaurishankar Agrawal making an announcement that the possible date of Monsoon Session might probably be in the month of August this year.
Chief Minister Raman Singh in his speech in the House appreciated the awareness of members of Treasury bench as well as of the Opposition members on legislative procedures.
leader of Opposition, TS Singhdeo in his speech said the Government had played a positive role in the smooth conduct of business in the House.
He also appreciated the role of new legislators and said that looking at their awareness, he now does not want to continue being a leader of Opposition.
The Opposition had passed the Bills tabled in the House without any disruption as they were in the interest of State, Singhdeo said.
Parliamentary Affairs Minister, Ajay Chandrakar appreciated the role of Speaker as well as leader of Opposition.
He also thanked the Chief Minister for playing vital role in convincing the Opposition where there were differences in views.
