A Hindi play ‘Trikon ka Chautha Kon’ showcasing the complexities of a woman’s heart was staged at Shaheed Bhavan here on Thursday.

One day her friend Hema meets her in the house of Kishore and impressed by her thoughts, Divya starts loving Koshore and sees him as her future life partner. Kishore keeps Divya unaware that he is going to marry someone else.
When Divya finds out about this, she decides to separate from Koshore.
Meanwhile, Divya’s life takes a turn when she discovers that her friend Hema is a victim of domestic violence and is dead now. Divya's life changes and she decides that she will raise her voice against the oppression of women in society and will not make any kind of agreement with this evil spread in society.
The story of drama showcased the sadness of women's heart. The story leaves a question mark on the exploiting nature of society for women.
How is the woman struggling for her respect in this patriarchal society, suffering from physical and mental harassment? After all, the words of women's independence, gender equality, will be heard only in the discussions of books and unnecessary.
The woman also has the freedom to live her life in her own way, to take her own decision. All these things were presented by the artists on stage with great interest. The play was beautifully performed on stage leaving a strong impact over the audience.
