Wings India 2018, the biennial conference on civil aviation and Aerospace will be held in Hyderabad from March 8 to 11. The event jointly organized by Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI), the Ministry of Civil Aviation and the Airport Authority of India will have the theme of "India-Global Aviation Hub" with a special focus on connecting the cities and town aimed at increasing the regional connectivity in India.
The event to be addressed by the Union Civil Aviation Minister Ashok Gajapati Raju, Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao and Secretary, Civil Aviation RN Choubey will also have CEOs Forum, Roundtables on Tourism, Cargo, logistics, General Aviation, and skills and training.
According to the FICCI 10 countries including USA, Japan, UK, Russia, Singapore, France, Germany, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Italy and Iran will participate in the event.
A large number of international and Indian Companies from sectors such as Aircraft Manufacturing, Aircraft Machinery & Equipment, Aircraft Interiors, Airlines, Airline Services & Air Cargo, Airports Infrastructure & Equipment, the Space Industry and the Skill Development & Aviation Training Institutes will participate in the event, a press release said.
While 125 exhibitors from India and other countries were likely to participate in the exhibition, 15 aircrafts of Boeing, Embraer, Dassault, ATR, Honda, Trujet, India India, One Air, Zoom Air, NAl and other organizations will be at the static display area.
The conference aims to be the most comprehensive platform in the region for the interactions, forging alliances, investments and air connectivity between the States and the global aviation players/ stakeholders.
