Eighteen children had a miraculous escape after their school van caught fire in Outer Delhi’s Mangolpuri area on Tuesday morning. Police said the school van caught fire after the driver lost control over the vehicle and hit a divider .
A senior police officer said, “The children were students of a Government school. The driver has been arrested. It is suspected that he was driving the van at a high speed which led to him losing control over the vehicle.” The officer said the vehicle was carrying the children to school when it hit the divider.
