Giving a high pitch to digital India, the two power companies BSES Rajdhani Power limited (BRPl) and BSES Yamuna Power limited (BYPl) have been at the forefront of digital payments. BSES has joined hands with Paytm for the ease of payments for 40 lakh consumers/customers.
A BSES consumer can get a cash-back of up to Rs 4,000 for paying their BSES electricity bills in March. All they have to do is pay their March bill before the due-date and pre-pay their April before March 31, 2018. For each of the bills separately, they can get a cash-back of up to Rs 2,000.
Announcing the scheme, BSES spokesperson said, “While promoting digital payments, it is our continuous endeavour to reward consumers for timely payments of their electricity bills. We regularly work with our partners to launch initiatives that can lead to tangible benefits for our esteemed consumers”.
Consumers can use the promo code BSES2000 to get the benefit of cash back scheme. The minimum bill amount required to be eligible for the scheme is Rs 100. The amount of cash-back for each of the bills will vary between Rs 10 and Rs 2000. The cash-back will be credited into the consumer's Paytm account within 24 hours of paying each of the bills.
