More than the plans for the New Year eve festivities, the chatteratti in Tamil Nadu is having high pitch discussion on the event the whole State, nay, the country is waiting for; superstar Rajinikanth’s entry into politics. Whether he will announce his plans to enter politics or whether he is launching a political outfit, would be known by Sunday.
The last five days saw Rajinikanth spending time with his fans who assembled in Chennai from all over the State. The fans got themselves photographed with him while some of them made the actor to bless their newly born and some even got their engagement rings blessed by him.
In his speech on Saturday, Rajinikanth advised his fans to meditate daily to reduce their stress and strain. “Everything you do in life needs the blessings of the Almighty. Everyone will have dreams to earn big, live prosperous. But to achieve it they should work hard. learn to respect people around you. love your family and lead a healthy life. Do at least five minutes of meditation daily,” Rajinikanth told his fans.
On Saturday, the actor turned nostalgic and spoke a lot about his initial days in Chennai. He also recalled the names of all the movie makers who played major roles in establishing him as a major actor in filmdom. Rajinikanth also disclosed that there has been a delay in the release of his latest film 2.0 due to last minute hitches.
Even as the actor withdrew for the day from the Raghavendra Auditorium in Chennai, political Tamil Nadu has turned feverish about the intentions of the actor. Dr Anbumani Ramadoss MP, who was sceptical about Rajinikanth’s political innings earlier, said on Saturday that the actor was welcome to join politics. “Not only Rajinikanth, lot of youngsters and youth should take interest in politics and join political parties. We were speaking about taking Tamil Nadu forward in the path of development and progress. But now the State is in Intensive Care Unit and is on life support system. let Rajinikanth too join the forces to rectify and rejuvenate the system,” said Dr Ramadoss.
The young MP was complimented by Rajinikanth during the previous edition of his interaction with the fans. “We do have some of the best politicians like MK Stalin and Anbumani Ramadoss. They are visionaries. But the system is rotten and they are finding it difficult to negotiate the unknown terrain,” Rajinikanth had told his fans.
