A wonderful combination of various art forms will be witnessed in a state-level competition Yuva Utsav 2017. From classical music to theatre dramas all mesmerizing performances will be witnessed by the Bhopalites under the Yuva Utsav.
Notably, the two-day programme is being organized by Madhya Pradesh Sports and Youth Department that will commence here from Monday and will conclude on Tuesday. About 450 participants from as many as seven districts will be participating in the youth festival 2017 to present performances under 15 disciplines of art.
These disciplines include oratory, guitar, veena, flute, sitar, mridangam, tabla, harmonium, Kuchipudi, Odissi, Manipuri, Kathak, Bharatanatyam, vocal (classical) and vocal (hindustani), mono-acting, folk songs and folk dance. Notably, winners of these competitions will take part in the National Yuva Utsav 2017.
Further, artists from Jabalpur, Reewa, Gwalior, Indore, Sagar, Bhopal and Ujjain will be participating in the youth festival. Further, it is divided into two segments that include folk song and dance, classical dance and play
It is noteworthy that the divisional level Yuva Utsav has recently concluded with 400 participants. Interestingly, among all the participants Bhopal turned out to be an overall winner. Now the State level competition is all set to woo the Bhopalites.
The event will begin at TT Nagar Stadium wherein the classical dancers will perform Kathak and Bharatnatya. This will be followed with plays which will be staged at Shaheed Bhavan from 10 am. This is not all, the participants will showcase their talent in classical instruments like Harmonium, Tabla and Veena at Manas Bhavan.
