A 25-year-old youth committed suicide by jumping from an under-construction building at laxmiganj Galla Mandi under Jehangirabad police station area on Thursday; by slashing his left arm with a sharp object, he had written ‘I love you Rani’, the police said.

According to the police, the deceased found on Thursday and it is suspected that the deceased might have jumped from the under-construction building at laxmiganj Galla Mandi. Police said that the identity of the deceased is yet to be established. The deceased failed in his relationship or it was a one sided love affair.

The deceased was not having injuries over his body but had wounds in his left palm which police suspects that he made before committing suicide.

After the locals spotted the body police were informed and on the receipt a police team reached

the spot and started investigation.

The police have registered a case under section 174 of the CrPC and have started further investigation.

Meanwhile, a 22-year-old youth committed suicide at BHEl area under Govindpura police station area on Tuesday. According to the police the deceased Vinay Singh was found hanging and was rushed to a nearby hospital where he was declared dead.

The deceased got married six months ago and was unemployed. The reason behind the suicide remained unknown and would be investigated.

Family members told the police that the deceased used to remain depressed for the past few days.

After the preliminary investigation the body was sent for the post mortem and a case under section 174 of the CrPC was registered.
