To give further push to industrialisation in the state and facilitate ample employment opportunity for youths, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Wednesday met investors and industrialists during a meeting at Daman on Wednesday morning.
Yogi informed businessmen that a State Investment Promotion Board had been already constituted to facilitate investors and there was immense potential for investment in Infrastructure, Dairy, Civil Aviation, Food Processing, Tourism, IT, Small and Medium industry and Energy sectors. He also invited them for the proposed 'UP Investors' Summit' to be held at lucknow on February 21-22 next year. He apprised industrialists of various mechanisms and systems set in motion by his government to make things easy for them.
According to an official communiqué of the state government, Yogi also assured investors that they would be extended all possible cooperation by the state government.
State spokesman claimed that a large number of foreign and domestic investors, industrialists, bankers and other representatives are likely to attend the UP Investors Summit. Yogi also apprised industrialists of the implementation of the UP Industrial Investment and Employment Promotion Policy 2017 and said that many incentives had been rolled out under the futuristic and comprehensive policy.
The industrialists were also informed that a State Investment Promotion Board had been set up for their convenience. He also said that UP was the country's biggest market and that besides improving law and order, efforts were also on to strengthen and develop the state's infrastructure.
The Chief Minister also assured industrialists that the investor-friendly environment in the state would bring their investment great dividends in the coming time.
