UTs to get CT training on NCTE approval

As many as 14,032 untrained teachers (UTs) are serving in various schools from primary school to high school level in the State now and they would be provided CT training after permission is obtained from the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE).

School and Mass Education Minister Debi Prasad Mishra informed this in the State Assembly in response to a question of BJD MlA Mahesh Sahoo on Thursday.

The State Government has sought approval from the NCTE to provide CT training to the untrained teachers, and after permission is obtained, they would be provided training through the DIET, the Minister said.
