Petroleum and Natural Gas Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, accompanied by Bargarh MP Dr Pravash Singh, Jharsuguda MlA Naba Das and Brajarajnagar MlA Radharani Panda, inaugurated Rs140 crore oil terminal project in Jharsuguda on Wednesday.
Pradhan said that was the biggest project in the State and would open the door for development for the entire western Odisha. He informed that there will be another such oil terminal in costal Odisha and maintained that the Paradeep - Raipur oil line would be of immense help for rapid industrial growth in the region and providing employments to the locals.
MP Pravas Singh said that six gram panchayats in his constituency are badly affected by the NTPC’s lara project in Chhattisgarh. But they get no benefits from the CSR activities of the vast project. MlA Naba Das asked for railway division in Jharsuguda.
